Redgate provided real estate and delivery strategy expertise as part of a team analyzing the $8.8 billion modernization and renovation plans for the landmarked Union Station. The delivery study team assessed project funding and financing, governance, and implementation strategy. Redgate also provided real estate and delivery strategy expertise to address capacity, circulation, security, and retail challenges, helping align a diverse stakeholder group that included USDOT, FRA, DDOT, Amtrak, and the DC Office of Planning. The effort supported a more than 3 million-square-foot expansion and mixed-use redevelopment plan that will transform Union Station into a modern transportation hub and civic gateway for the region.
