Redgate served as United Therapeutics’ owner’s representative and project manager for the Stewartville Designated Pathogen-Free (DPF) facility, a 75,000-square-foot biosecure, GMP-oriented organ production center supporting the company’s xenotransplantation program.

Housing genetically engineered donor pigs bred for organ transplantation to humans, the facility is designed to produce transplantable organs for human clinical applications in a tightly controlled pathogen-free environment. Redgate led the project through planning, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, validation, and occupancy, overseeing delivery from groundbreaking through enhanced turnover.

United Therapeutics is one of Redgate’s multisite portfolio clients, with projects spanning locations across the country.
