Redgate is advancing Dartmouth College’s campus through a diverse portfolio of capital planning and implementation efforts. Among these assignments are multiple research laboratory projects, including six renovations ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 square feet for the Chemistry, Life Sciences, and Psychology Departments, with specialized environmental controls to support sensitive research activities. Redgate’s broader work also includes the energy retrofit of the historic 800,000-square-foot Geisel School of Medicine and logistics and move planning for the new Center for Engineering and Computer Science, including the relocation of 120 faculty and staff offices, instructional spaces, research laboratories, and specialty equipment.
At the campus level, Redgate helped develop Dartmouth’s $400 million, 10-year steam-to-hot-water conversion program encompassing 119 buildings, establishing priorities for piping replacement, district energy plant development, and coordination with planned building renewals. Additional assignments include a feasibility study for a 300-bed modular graduate housing development and leadership of the 81,000-square-foot Burke Hall energy conversion. Together, these efforts span technically complex building renovations, infrastructure and decarbonization planning, institutional moves, and long-range capital planning across the Dartmouth campus.
