As part of the transformative Union Square (USQ) Redevelopment, Redgate provided development management oversight for two life sciences assets at the heart of Somerville’s emerging innovation district. Redgate led contractor procurement, permitting, utility coordination, construction logistics, and development management for Parcel D2.1, a 200,000-square-foot lab and office building positioned adjacent to the MBTA Green Line Extension station. Simultaneously, Redgate supported the predevelopment and planning of Parcel D3.1, helping shape a viable development strategy for a future lab and office building on a uniquely constrained transit-oriented site.
