Redgate provided development management and project management services for 100 Chestnut, a 200,000-square-foot LEED Platinum-certified life sciences building and the anchor of the 1.2 million-square-foot Brickbottom District in Somerville. Purpose-built for laboratory and research users, the facility features a vivarium, flexible floor plates, and 229 below-grade parking spaces. Redgate led the project from entitlements through construction and tenant occupancy, helping establish 100 Chestnut as a flagship life sciences destination while laying the groundwork for future phases of district-wide development. In addition to overseeing base building delivery, Redgate provided project management and tenant fit-out services for several occupants, including ADA Forsyth Institute, Ultragenyx, Hatch BioLabs, CRADL, and NEST, supporting the delivery of specialized laboratory, research, and innovation environments tailored to each organization’s operational needs.
